Storytime
Well, no church for me and the boys today, owing to the fact that Ben's rash is still moving its way around his body. I was not sure what it was and there was no chance of a doctor's appointment tomorrow so I did a bit more reading up on the viruses he's been exposed to over the past couple of weeks, and actually it seems that this rash is typical of the 3rd stage of slapped cheek, all his symptoms have been approximately when they are expected, and he should no longer be contagious. Hurrah, huzzah, hurrah! No more concerns about travelling next week, and if he's up to it he can go to school tomorrow.
We did get some fresh air in the drizzle to go to the shop for milk (and a Lightning McQueen chocolate lolly) while Steve was at church though. And in the afternoon we played in a cardboard box, did laundry, were very very tired, did some cutting up of sandpaper (my already blunt cheap craft knife will definitely need binning after this), took photos of the latest artwork, muddled through the day, and finished off with Steve reading "Calm down, Boris" to Ben and Charley.
This will be yet another backblip as I couldn't get on to blipfoto before putting the boys to bed, and my photo of storytime is on the macbook, and I'm lying here writing my journal, listening to the rain, getting hungry again. Time to go to sleep!
