Decided to see if Waikiki was "up" as the forecasters said.   It was a most beautiful day!   Light rain ("liquid sunshine") & dark skies behind Waikiki did little to dampen most tourists' fun, and as you can see, blue skies & sunshine quickly came back.
Extra #1 shows a personalized Segway tour stopping on the promenade for fotos against a Waikiki backdrop.   Behind the fellow off his Segway, you see the historic (pink) Royal Hawaiian Hotel.  Dwarfing it to its left, is the Sheraton Waikiki monstrosity.  Behind the 2 people on the jetty, the low white building left of the pole, is the Moana Surfrider Hotel, another venerable classic.
Extra #2 is an incoming, colliding with an outgoing wave.  Can't resist them, the showier the better.
