CAVE2

I have the fortune to be working at the bleeding edge of simulation and visualisation. We are using 3D immersive technology to teach. There are only 4 CAVE2 in the world. USC is the only university in the world using this technology to teach. This photo is of part of the CAVE. It consists of 88 large LCD panels arranged in a circle that is 8 meters across. We put students in in groups of 15. They ware 3D glasses. We can put them inside a human cell. They are able to walk around in the cell. Thats just 1 of many experiences. This photo shows a section of the universe where students are able to fly to Mars. Its amazing
