ELR CCG is delighted to have received national recognition as one of the best places to work in the NHS. The recognition comes in a new award from the Health Service Journal and Nursing Times.
The award is derived from the results of the Annual NHS Staff Survey. The survey collects the experiences and opinions of NHS staff on a range of matters such as job satisfaction, wellbeing and raising concerns. Organisations can use the results to review and improve staff experience, which in turn can bolster improvements to patient care. The results also inform local and national assessments of the quality and safety of care, and how well organisations are delivering against the standards set out in the NHS Constitution.
Commenting on the award, Karen English, Managing Director said:
“We’re absolutely delighted to receive this national recognition. But we’re even more delighted because it comes as a result of what the staff themselves say about their own place of work and the people they work with. We’re passionate about doing everything we can to make our workplace enjoyable, supportive and rewarding for the people who choose to work here. A large part of that isn’t just what we do as an organisation, but how everyone who works here treats each other. So this isn’t just a nice thing for the organisation to receive, it’s also a huge vote of confidence from our own people to their colleagues. It’s the equivalent of the Players’ Player Award.”
