Oh what a night!

... and day actually. Urchin, Mr SC and I took our parents to London for the day to celebrate their 40th anniversary.

A quick lunch followed by a theatre show. Can highly recommend 'Jersey Boys' which is the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (hence today's title). There were so many hits that we knew - you'd be amazed I am sure - and the performers were just great.

Then we went for a quick drink and onto a restaurant for a dining experience where we couldn't have asked for any more. We went to Pearl, with head chef Jun Tanaka, and it was FABULOUS!!!! The place is stunning, this is possibly not the greatest pic from the day (I have some great one's of the food) but it shows the restaurant entrance/bar. The service was faultless and the food was out of this world! Everyone had a wonderful time and at the end of the evening we were asked if we wanted to meet the chef? What a silly question, who is going to say no?! Anyway, Jun Tanaka came out a few minutes later and chatted with everyone, congratulated our parents and had a picture taken with us (oh, we are so sad!).

We wouldn't be able to afford it every week, but Mr SC and I will definitely go back there again for a treat. If anyone wants to take someone out to really impress them this is the place to go.
