Happy birthday Mom!

Just had a very nice meal using my Beefeater voucher - wouldn't like to pay full price though!  (Even though my Mom is worth it!)

I spent a long time looking for a card with meaningful words and succeeded in making her cry.  It was important to me that she should know how important she is/has been.  At least she knows now, for those few moments when she read the card.

Number 2 nephew came after a day driving a truck - he seems to be getting a bit of work now through the agency but still believes that his Mom should pay for his phone, car insurance, his keep, get up at 5 in the morning to sort his breakfast and lunch and have his tea ready for him on the table when he gets in.  He says that's what all his mates get...

I couldn't possibly comment.
