Funnel spider

A chilly day, not a lot of sun, quite a change!  Went to visit mum this morning and then to a meeting.  Did some cooking, went for a walk, got soaked at school this afternoon and then A & D came round for dinner. I think this is a funnel spider, lucky this one didn't dart back down into its web!  Also took a shot of some baby spiders.  I've put a rather pretty little flower on extra that was only about 9" tall which I can't identify from my book, any suggestions?
