Friars Crag

Today we went on hubby's works pensioners trip, some of the older people felt they couldn't travel too far, so they took us to Keswick, which didn't seem very far but it turned out to be  a lovely day.
We were driven to Keswick and given a couple of hours free time, (no problem with us having to find a car park). We decided to spend the time going to the museum to see the Wainwright exhibition. We were then driven to the landing stages where we went by launch to the Ladore Hotel. We had a lovely lunch and then returned home by about 5.30pm.
The weather was mixed but did keep dry (just) while we were on the boat.
