Playing without the dots.

I've put my music stand away, as it's really high time that I memorised the heads of many of the tunes that I've played over the years and listened to for even longer. It's good for ear-training too, and for actually playing into a space rather than at a music stand. Today was Nostalgia in Times Square and Summertime. The blip is the space in the kitchen where my music stand should be. The room looks very different without it.

It's been a funny couple of days, not much has gone to plan really but everyone is ok and that's the main thing. Tomorrow I am planning a thoroughly uneventful day with much tea and catching up on blips, as well as starting to commit a couple more tunes to memory.
