Camp Day 1

Fiona and Maple Sugar the dog happily went home early this morning with her Mom and Dad.  she says next summer she'll come to camp....I think Tatum was a bit relieved that she didn't need to be responsible , and the 3  are quite happy to be "the originals" doing all the traditional stuff.   … the 3 campers however got to sleep late and then have pancakes.  Then some boating on calm waters but still hazy air and odd sun, which will have to be the blip.  Tatum will not kayak anymore but will row, (if pressed)  so we’re in the little rowboat.  After lunch we enforce our 1 hour of quiet time  nap so Boppa and I can make through the day.   :-)  An ice cream run, some time in the inflatable hanging out with snacks watching seals and they still wanted a scavenger hunt so I sent them on a forest hunt, with a list of 20 items and a bucket and told them they had to be back in an hour, thinking I’d get an hour for the computer and maybe even the blip.,   Well they were back with all 20 in 35 minutes, including photos of the fungus on the trees and animal tracks.  So much for the early blip!  Pizza for dinner, word games and there’s day 1.   Whew.

The extra is the boys in kayaks..  Oskar's not sure it's so fun anymore and Nik was trying to figure out how his friend flipped his kayak a couple weeks ago,
