What a lovely day
What else would you do on a day like this other than spend about 3 hours in an oven called a Vulcan forward fuselage section!
2 lots of Primary School children from Brockworth school at the museum as part of their Gloster Aircraft Company project.
Gloster was based at Brockworth, which is now a large business park with a massive TESCO store, Costa, Pharmacy, Greggs, fitness centre and lots more.
It is where the first flight of the Whittle Jet E28/39 took place, although officially it was at Cranwell when the press and dignitaries were there.
Since it was sealed up and the exterior painting done we can't open the little windows but there will be an air conditioning unit up there soon, Phew!
