I don't get it!

I saw this sign which specifically says no feeding the wild life and what do I see! People feeding the wild life!
I also heard today in the news a couple leaving their dog inside a hot car yesterday and the dog died. This is really sad and very disturbing. If I ever see a dog or a pet in a car like that I'm smashing the window and I probably get charged!

I don't get it!
