Little Jenny Wren
This young wren made an appearance on the 'stick' today. It did nt stay still very long so was pleased to get this shot at least. The garden is still busy with birds mainly because of the low temperature I think, under 10 degrees first thing and it felt cold and then muggy again later.
There are lots of house martins and swallows zooming up and down the field and even though I have tried I can 't get a photo in focus.
Mike had a quick half hour break between calls so we popped up to Feddon woods just to get a break, really need to go back as there were so many birds about including a family of about 4 Great spotted woodpeckers and some noisy birds in the tree tops which I could nt get a good sighting of.
Back to watch abit of tennis, not much else happening.
