Abstract Image
17.0C with plenty of sunny spells. Light breeze.
Maeve the Deerhound has out in her garden again. It has become her routine to want out as soon as Apothecary7 leaves for work.
I took Maeve for a walk after lunch. It felt a bit cooler today. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. One of the ladies from the farm stopped in her car to ask if I had seen their black and white Spaniel, but I hadn't. We came back along the cycle path and went down to the beach at Westhaven via the level crossing.
Down on the beach the tide was far out. Valhalla A and Shamara II were lying on the sand in the channel through the rocks and the smaller boat was still nearer the beach.
We came up off the beach at the fishermen's huts and I looked about for somethng to try and make an abstract image from for Abstract Thursday hosted by youoregon1. Once I had tried one or two ideas we came along East Row and over the road bridge over the railway then carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home. Maeve went back out into the garden as soon as we got home.

A note on how it was done (as requested by youoregon1):
The photo is of a red buoy/float (it was upside down) with its blue top. Shot in "Key Line". Then I used Photoshop Elements to copy out the two outer thirds, changed the red in one third to orange and the red in the other to yellow. The thirds were replaced and the whole 'flattened' to give a one layer image.
