Drawn to the Sea

We could hear the waves on the shore last night from our bedroom, so perhaps not surprising that the breakers are today's blip. Earlier met up with excellent Edinburgh photographer L and had a good chat in the Espy (with FM on in the background) - hearing among another things about her recent photoshoot with the Queen. Good to talk photography with another photographer.
In footballing news, Celtic confirmed their signing of another of United's better players - good for the bank balance, or at least for the manager's bank balance, with his deal that allegedly includes a bonus for player sales. Whether the club will be all that much better off, what with that and agent and player payments, I guess we probably won't find out. Oh, for a bit more transparency in the club's financial dealings. And not much prospect that the money will turn up players of similar quality. Perhaps United should forget the tangerine and play in green and white hoops if they are going to be Celtic's development team. A year ago there seemed grounds for optimism for the future but with the team filleted of its brightest stars there seems precious little to look forward to in the season ahead :-(
Wonder if Ciftci will be cleared of the disciplinary charges hanging over him, now he's moved to Scotland's dominant team. #disillusioned
