The coast!

Stormy seas out there today, but a stunning day, even if the sunshine does look deceivingly warm. I sure was not complaining though - gorgeous. I finished my supply work, all great, and made a beeline for the beach, for a coastal stroll. 

I am looking forward to watching Coast, which returns to BBC tonight, as they are on a quest to find out just why we love the coast so much. For me, it can be summarised by the words Chris Evans said this morning on his Radio 2 breakfast show. "As humans, we are fundamentally programmed to seek joy"...and that is what I do when I head to the coast, seek, and find, joy :-)
