Four years ago today...

Four years ago today I was flying back from Lille Air Show in my friend's beautiful Stampe in formation with the Turbulent Display Team.

That flight will remain in my heart forever. It was like stepping back in time flying over the beautiful French countryside, over the channel and the White Cliffs of Dover into the Kent countryside.

My friend made me do a lot of the flying and I remember the forward visibility being terrible and how easy it was to go off heading.

I hope to fly open cockpit again some day, still waiting to revalidate my licence but lack of free time has been a real issue. Hopefully soon...
