Sunlit cottages

We were up earlier than usual this morning. Daughter wanted to beat the crowds and get to work early, knowing the tube strike would mean it taking longer than usual. So I gave her a lift to a different station from our nearest one, so she could vary her route and bypass the tube.

The very early light was bright and beautiful, and I found these sunlit cottages very eye-pleasing. Views like this are a joy of summer.
