As part of the ongoing refurb, and having to lift carpets for plumbing and electricals, it makes sense to replace a couple of the more worn ones.  

One was just naff and crumbly, the other was functional but looking rather tired.

Having lifted this latter one I find it has a right to be looking tired; it seems to have been there since 1973!

Hmm. Some things don't change - though I guess they were hoping to have one; rather than the Chancellors current 'plan' to decimate what little there was.
