Back blip
We were supposed to be moving on today but wife had a tummy upset (? tap water at the restaurant yesterday). Well in the eaves of the open covered way a pair of what we believe are Black Redstarts were preparing their brood of four to fledge. It meant I could spend virtually the whole day photographing their efforts. The main image is of the first to actually fledge  and this is an early attempt to take to the air. The extra is either Mum or Dad with the other three; no food even though they are clearly expecting some. Two successfully fledged on the 6th and the other two next day ( hear)
