Where's Wally?
We have the car back and it's all fixed. Yay! Not only is it fixed but it's even better than was before. The decision has been made though, as soon as we get home it's getting replaced. Too many things going wrong with it and when you're relying on the electronics to power the wheelchair ramp, it's not good then they start to play up.
But at least it's working for now.
Back to glorious sunshine and hot temperatures today. Another lazy morning and another lazy lunch in the garden. Melon, cheeses, parma ham and French bread. So simple but so delish. It never tastes so good at home.
To cool down in the afternoon David, Alan and I headed out in the car for a run and ended up at Fontenay Le Comte, a town we've visited many times before. Afterwards it was back to the holiday house and time for Alan to get into the pool. His smiles and shrieks of laughter are a joy to behold.
Niece Jennifer and her pal Rebecca have now arrived to spend a week with us so our holiday party now consists of 9 plus Marion and Stewart. About to have dinner in the garden.
Sunshine, chilled wine, good food, laughter and loved ones. What more could I want?
PS Rubbish shot I know as it was taken from the car, but it makes me smile. Hoping to stop at a sunflower field and get some proper photos.
