lucky day

Last day of term and all i had to do was drop two extra children off, 5 minutes drive from school.
A burst tyre, a helpful pig farmer with a jack, a bit of know-how and a distracting day old piglet. Then an invigorating walk home, where the children produced surprising snacks and water from their backpacks and sang rousing songs. An emergency call to Ross, by 7.30 we were settled with popcorn and the bbq cancelled, by 8.30 Ross still wasn't home. By 9 he was back, not grumpy but mighty chuffed with a new pair of tyres changed on the car and a full new set on the Landrover (failed CT sorted then). Great evening's work.
