Express

Caught the P&O Express coming into Troon tonight.  She sails from Troon to Larne during the summer months.  This high powered catamaran covers the crossing in just over 2 hours at speeds up to 40 knots.
 
Built in Tasmania in 1997 she has travelled the world before taking on the Irish Sea route in 2006.  She has room for 900 passengers and 220 cars and is staffed by a crew of 32.
 
Quite a sleek looking vessel, unfortunately the weather was very grey so not the best of pictures.
