Resurrection

We're lucky to have a lot of greenery around us; fields, trees, bushes, wild plants...you name it. There is one patch of grass which seems to be particularly suited to the poppy.

They grow abundantly in this part, small clumps scattered about here and there. Mainly with red flowers but I'm sure I've spotted one lonesome yellow flower somewhere.

Today's picture focuses on the poppy bud, with the petals neatly folded inside ready to pop out! :)
