More from the garden

This camelia never ceases to amaze me.  For quite a few years I thought it was straggly and not terribly eye-catching.  A couple or 3 years ago I had a chap come round and give it (and a few other bushes/trees) a pretty thorough trim.  Wow!  It now is bushy, full of flowers and quite stunning.  I will no longer be gentle when I prune it!  

And to add to the smiles, the sun did it's thing up here, though things are very different further south where oodles of snow has fallen causing mishaps and mayhem.  Snow even fell and settled in the hills around Wellington - very unusual.
