It's an orange world!

The garden is full of hoverflies and I can't help reflecting on what an amazing technicolor world they inhabit. For this one, visiting this daylily must be like entering the moth of an active volcano. Except, of course, it's being guided to the sugary nectar through ultra-violet based vision...and I'm not sure how these tints of yellow and orange will look to them. Anyway, it's a delight to my less specialised eyes.
