Not an easy journey from rural Wiltshire!

As per usual, Clive was very cavalier about timings. Plan was to arrive at Gatwick at 4.30am. Sat Nav said we would arrive at 5.15 .....A303 was closed where we usually join it with a diversion in place. Then M3 was closed. Once on M3 the road works and reduced speed limit went on forever.

We were allowed to jump the queue at check in and then told we made the flight but our luggage hadn't!!

A brilliant, efficient young woman came along and made some calls and our luggage made it too!!!

Anyway we've been here since lunch in a very "camp" hotel.

Random tree on the beach that was washed up as a result of the tornado over Venice earlier in the week.
