River Glaven, Spot the Dragonfly
Could be worth biggification
A glorious day.
The builders are putting the finishing touches to the roof of the barn. I worked for a few hours and then Cal came over - we meet to talk about our work and offer each other mentorship and supervision in our work.
In the afternoon, HL and I went over to Glandford and had a walk along the River Glaven. Winged insects were out in force and we saw those midnight blue damselflies and several different species of dragonflies and butterflies including a Red Admiral.
Later we ended up at Bayfield Hall. We have been looking out for a while for some second hand café chairs for the garden, to go with a mosaic table which HL finished last year. Turned out they had some good ones at the upmarket junk/antiques shop by the hall, so I struck while the iron was hot...
We got home just in time to watch the second half of the Men's Semi Final at Wimbledon. Pity to see Andy Murray lose, you couldn't help feel for him but he was simply outplayed by Roger Federer at his brilliant best.
