High Summer.

One of those glorious English sunshine days when the living is (definitely) easy.
Having dropped H at school, I joined a friend for a walk/coffee round Avebury. They have just re-opened the sizeable outer bank after several year of closure and it was wonderful to walk along the top looking down onto the inner ditch and stone circle. 
A first for me, despite numerous visits to the site.
