A cloudy but dry morning …….. perfect weather for car washing and hedge cutting. Yes, that’s what I did. Trimmed the dried daffodils bulbs too, directed someone to no. 27 and took a parcel in for no. 29.

It brightened up in the afternoon and I had a wander round Grasmere instead of watching Wimbledon on TV. So many cafes to eat and drink ……. and guess who had gone with only pennies in her purse. I’m not sure whether this person outside Baldry’s was a customer or just using the table and chair to use her phone but she made a good blip subject.
