new best friend

i am dogsitting for a friend for a few days. he might just be the best dog i have ever come into contact with (with the exception of my own of course). he barrelled into me the moment i came through the door and has not left my side since, even sitting contentedly at my feet whilst i type away. technically, he's not allowed on the sofa but he gave me a sideways glance as he climbed up there this evening, leaving me thinking he most definitely sleeps on the sofa when there is nobody in the house. i let him have a few minutes, he just looked way too comfy and cosy to move! he is so protective and follows me wherever i go, and is the most obedient boy in the world. i love this dog!
