More Agricultral musings

Today there are more of my agricultural musings . The size of the herd is growing all the time with more calves being produced with the coming of every day and it becomes difficult to navigate a route between them without up setting some new mother. ! (see small picture and notice the black shape loitering in the bushes behind.)

The cow in the main picture caught my attention, but the way she was delicately  picking the leaves from a crab apple tree.  If the view is not very good I find the cattle more than makes up for it.
