Oxon Hoath Estate

Went to visit a lavender nursery today in search of lavender fields. It seems the fields must be elsewhere,  magnificent views on my short walk from the nursery but no sign of purple. The walk took me on public footpaths through the Oxon Hoath estate which is a very grand private estate used for weddings.   I was pleased to see  signs on the trees going up the drive 11"heart"July - my birthday- what a good day.  This photo is taken from the drive showing the view from the house
