Sunflower (with added corn beetles)

W told me that one of the sunflowers had bloomed, so I thought it would make a good blip.

But the corn beetles also think they are on to a good thing.

A few days ago, we were absolutely plagued with these little beetles - you couldn't stand outside without getting a crop landing on you.  Not so bad today - they're all on the sunflower!

W offered to clear the plant of wildlife, I was happy to take what I got.

I have been told that yellow is "THE colour" for attracting insects - we used to have a yellow car which was an absolute magnet for all types of flying creepies.
