Rain stopped play

Spent most of the morning with an eye on the weather as Charlotte's sports day was scheduled for the afternoon.

There were a few showers but they did manage to start. Unfortunately the showers turned to persistent rain and the head had to take the decision to abandon it. Lottie hadn't had chance to race but did have the bonus of getting out of school early once she was changed.

We took her into town for a bit of a treat to make up for it!
