Bright spark

Such a long day at work today - not just me, we all felt the same, and couldn't wait for 5.

Charlotte got her school report today and it is excellent - her grades are fabulous, especially her reading, but it is the lovely comments from her teacher and head teacher that make it so special. We are so proud of her and I got quite emotional reading it.

We always let her have a treat for such good progress and this year it is a new scooter to replace her battered old one.

It's been a lovely evening. We had our first barbecue since we moved last summer, and then I had a good chat with a couple of the neighbours.
