The Big One

I am adding photos taken while we were at the beach and I didn't get to the library to add them.

The 14 year old granddaughters wanted to go crabbing, so we took them out today. It was an average day crabbing on the boat UNTIL we got the big one. We were all so excited; we had only gotten barely keepers up until this point.

In the ocean, this size is common....but not in the bay.

Of course, the girls also were most excited to each get half of it for their dinner.....along with their fill of the others. They are both excellent crab crackers.....so it was an enjoyable dinner for all.
