Lunch at Meadow Hut

We had another wonderful sunny day at the Snow Farm, with 4 of us walking in snow shoes down the hill to Meadow Hut.  In this photo are Sue, Steve and Carole, enjoying the warmth of the beautiful winter sun, and having their lunch at the picnic tables outside the hut.  A long uphill walk back to the lodge, where a delicious hot chocolate was awaiting us. We are back in Wanaka now, where there isn't a breath of wind, and the lake is wonderfully calm.  We have a nice hot fire going, and are settling in for the night, after a wonderful day in the mountains..
