Now that the sheep have gone from the parkland, the ragwort is re-establishing itself, it's acid yellow flower heads high above the grasses.  Ragwort is known for being poisonous and is dangerous for mammals such as horses to eat in any quantity.

The Cinnabar moth, is also unpalatable to many predators and uniquely likes to lay it's eggs on the Ragwort.  It's tiger striped caterpillars gorge on the plant.

Hence the Cinnabar moth  is a useful way of controlling the rampant spread of ragwort and was apparently introduced into North America and Australia for this very reason.
