Sunshine

Just as Canberra decided to threaten us with snow, I bundled ourselves into the car and headed north to visit family. After 50km we lost the fog and mist, after 100km we lost the cloud cover, and after 200km we found ourselves out of winter and into spring! We shed a few layers of clothing with the big kids declaring they were 'almost hot!' We walked by the lake in the late afternoon, encountering parrots, ducks (see extra) and swans (main pic).

It was about 330km in total, a very manageable drive in a country where you can be driving for 3 days to reach your relatives. My Nan turns 90 this week so tomorrow we are celebrating her birthday.

No Lightroom or Photoshop here on holidays so you've got my photos nude.
