Sunset Sliver (2015.177)

Heading out of Hull on the Pride of York, on our way to Zeebrugge.

This ferry works really well for us. 5hrs Edinburgh-Hull in the car, followed by dinner and a few drinks on the boat. A good night's sleep, then breakfast, and we're only 2hrs from Paris. This contrasts well with a ten hour slog through England to Dover, no sleep on the Ferry, then navigation out of Calais. Frankly, any route that gets you to the continent earlier is a win as far as I’m concerned.


In truth, I was probably at least 10 minutes late to this sunset, but the streak of red at the horizon was quite striking. We were on our way!
