Red Arrows

While sitting having lunch outside the Red Arrow acrobatic display team screamed overhead on their way to a display at the Kent County Show at Detling. From the bedroom we had a good view of most of the display despite it being 2 to 3 miles away. We couldn't see the low level head on fly past for which they are famous but I was able to capture this manoeuvre at maximum zoom.
 
Lunch came between a visit to the gym in the morning and another afternoon in the garden. This time I was erecting a fence at the back of the pond to screen the compost bins from the rest of the garden. Surprisingly enough all went well and apart from a bit of painting that part of the makeover is complete. All that remains is for the final planting to be done and you'll be treated to a shot of the finished pond and its surroundings.
