Beach Towel Abstract

Having a free rein for today and thinking about what was going to be practical, I opted for an oil on water abstract with the seaside beach towel providing the colour underneath.  Hampered by 'tools' - only the strong extra-virgin oil available and no tripod for close focussing - I think it was quite reasonable quality.

Others I took today involved shadows of the washing - the smalls!...as in small people's clothes.  Just as shadows and turned 180 degrees quite effective as an abstract too. 

Blip gave us all a bit of a scare this morning by not functioning.  It's amazing how nervous some of us became and fearful for the future.  It's not the daily photo that matters so much but the strong community and friendships that have been forged. I don't think any other site could be quite the same.
