Fledgling

This poor wee Martin has probably just made his first flight and crash landed in the bush. He was cheeping so plaintively I thought he was impaled but he flew off to my relief!
Later, got shots of Ringlets, Small Pearl Bordered Fritillary and Small Heath butterflies and found where the herons had established a new heronry after clear felling had destroyed the original.
