Sarracenia

It's another cold damp day down at the Holker Garden Festival. I didn't go wandering out of our marquee very often but I made a point of visiting the Horticultural Display marquee. It's always full of interesting plants so I was pleased to be able to get the shot of this Pitcher plant against a black background. They trap and digest insects in these tubes. For the first time I saw one in flower but I couldn't get a good shot because of its position in the display.
