Yellow Flag Iris

Despite having blipped several different subjects today, imcluding a dog cooling off in the duck pond and some people enjoying the sunshine at lunchtime I fall backom a flower. Why? I guess I am just drawn to flowers. They are only a small part of the world around us but try to think of a flowerless world. A world devoid of their colour and scents and the wonderful diversity of their structures and life cycles. Hard to imagine isn't it?
