Ding dong, the witch is dead!
I had a scare this morning....Blip wouldn't work!! I thought the end had finally come but luckily, whatever glitch there was in the system seems to be fine and it's back to business as usual. You may not have even noticed! Phew!
Mr A & I had a drive to Trawden today, to visit the annual Scarecrow & garden festival.
We went for the first time last year and enjoyed it so much we said we'd go again. We remembered a few houses selling plant cuttings, so we hoped for the same today.
Last year we went on the bike so we couldn't buy anything, so this time we went fully prepared with a big empty box in the boot.
The festival itself seemed quieter this year, not as many scarecrows (unless we missed them); the theme was Musicals.
One road had really made an effort, turning into the 'yellow brick road' and as you progressed down it, you could follow the story, almost scene by scene.
Fellow blipper HappyJacqui lives in Trawden (she's blipped the Tin Man from the YBR); we visited her street too as they had done an Alice in Wonderland theme.
Today's blip was the one that made me smile the most; not exactly a scarecrow and not as much effort as some of the other scarecrows, but very well done nonetheless!
