Uplifting

I had noticed that the footbridge near our new home in Cardiff Bay came equipped with hinges and flashing lights. Today, I discovered the reason why.

A bigger-than-average boat needed access to the Bay from the Ely River, so the bridge became a skyscraper for a few minutes.

It delayed my walk into nearby Penarth... but it was a fun piece of theatre.
