I'm With Lulu

I read in the paper today that Robin Page and his wife compete to spot fresh species of butterflies first. He had recently spotted a marbled white, a lovely butterfly that I saw on my visit to Canvey Wick SSSI last summer. Lulu has trounced him by spotting a gatekeeper, a beautiful butterfly of high summer. I was delighted to have spotted my first today too. :)

Been keeping my eyes on the skies. I shot a Vampire jet that I remember flying over our house in the early fifties. They looked futuristic then and I  think they still do with their twin-boom tails. :)
