Making the Cut

Stanley knives, like tape measures, are tools I incessantly mislay and so acquire a spare from time to time.

Occasionally I find them all at once.  That hasn't happened for so long, I'd forgotten I had three Stanley knives.

I've lost count of the tape measures; but then I've lost most of the tape measures anyway, so it hardly matters.

In the lull between refurb weeks we've friends staying with us, one socially, and one, a blipper, commercially (but cheaply given the state of the place; especially when I hand him a paint brush tomorrow...)

Hmm, I wonder when he checks blip?
